James Boston and Darren Battle created CleanSet to help productions safely restart in Georgia's Film, television and advertising industry. Our first job was in June 2020, enabling Georgia's first major ad spot to shoot since the pandemic began and with a crew of 160+ and SAG talent. There were no certifications and no clear rules at that time, the only thing we knew for sure is that we wanted to help keep our industry family safe and reduce the fear we all experienced at the time.
Covid compliance grew into disinfecting services. While disinfecting we realized that cleaning contributes to health safety and we began offering production janitorial. When in-person events started up we helped manage compliance on location at events coast to coast. After many seasons of episodic television, hours of movies and hundreds of commercials later, we are confident that we've contributed to the health safety of literally thousands of crew members, actors, executives, event attendees and audience members from Puerto Rico to Pittsburgh and from Milwaukee to Mexico.
Our company began to fill a need during painful times. As things change, we will continue to be a leader in health safety management, trusted by major studios, networks and production companies.
